About  Us

A personal note from Vladimir Fanshil & Eleanor Lyons

Live at Yours began in the most unexpected way — in our own living room. In 2020, when the world fell silent, we refused to believe that music should exist only on screens. So we gathered a handful of people, pulled the chairs close, and performed for twenty guests at a time. Those evenings were small, fragile, unforgettable — and they reminded us why we became musicians: to share something real, something human, something that only exists when people come together.

A New Way to Experience Music

In the first years, we travelled across NSW and the ACT, giving more than 50 performances in lounge rooms, coffee roasteries, tin sheds in the outback, art galleries, churches, synagogues and regional theatres.

It was in those intimate settings that we connected deeply with locals, listened to their feedback, and discovered what Australians truly value in live music: informal yet refined, relaxed yet deeply sincere, intimate yet world-class.

Those conversations shaped everything — from our welcoming tone to having no intervals, allowing the emotional arc to flow without interruption. This is how we crafted the ultimate listening experience we offer today: personal, natural and genuinely shared.

From a lounge room to a national stage

Live at Yours has now grown far beyond our living room — into concert spaces across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Orange, Castlemaine and beyond — yet the essence remains unchanged.

Every venue is chosen for its story and atmosphere. Every performance is lit and shaped to feel close, warm and immersive. And every artist who joins us shares our belief in vulnerability, honesty and connection.

World-class artists, up close

Extraordinary artists, shared in intimate spaces — where every detail comes alive.

Committed to the next generation

As Live at Yours grows, so does our responsibility to young musicians. Through masterclasses, mentoring, and partnerships with ANAM and the Sydney Conservatorium, we help the next generation experience the same intimacy and inspiration that shaped our early years.

Thank you for being part of this journey!
We can’t wait to welcome you — up close, and personal.

Androxal: The Doctor’s Review That Could Restore Your Energy, Libido and Confidence After 30

By Dr. Michael Hartley, Men’s Health Physician, Australia

Disclaimer: This article is for educational purposes only and does not replace individual medical advice. Androxal is a prescription medicine in Australia. Not all men are suitable candidates. Consult a qualified doctor before starting any therapy.

Attention: Tired, Foggy and Losing Your Edge? It May Not Be “Just Age”

If you are a man over 30, you have probably felt it: waking up exhausted despite a full night’s sleep, struggling to lose stubborn belly fat, losing motivation at work, feeling irritable around your family, and noticing your sex drive is not what it used to be. Maybe you have even been told by your GP: “Your testosterone is a bit low, but that’s normal for your age.”

Let me be direct—low testosterone is never normal when it is causing symptoms. The problem is that many Australian men are offered only one solution: traditional testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). TRT can help, but it also comes with real concerns: shrinking testicles, reduced fertility, need for ongoing injections or gels, and potential suppression of your body’s own hormone production.

What if there was a smarter way? A treatment that works with your body rather than replacing it? That treatment is Androxal.

Interest: What Is Androxal and Why Is It Different?

Androxal is the brand name for enclomiphene citrate, a modern oral medication originally developed for men with secondary hypogonadism. Instead of shutting down your natural testosterone production like TRT, Androxal acts on the brain—specifically the hypothalamus and pituitary gland—to restore your own testosterone production.

It works by blocking oestrogen receptors in the brain. When oestrogen levels are high or the feedback loop is overactive, the brain reduces the signals that tell your testes to make testosterone. Androxal interrupts that negative feedback, causing your pituitary to release more luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). These hormones then stimulate your testes to produce more testosterone—and importantly, maintain or improve sperm production.

Androxal vs Traditional Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Feature Androxal Traditional TRT
How it works Stimulates your own testosterone production Replaces testosterone externally
Fertility Maintains or improves sperm production Often reduces sperm count
Testicle size Maintained or restored Can shrink over time
Natural hormone axis Preserved and reactivated Suppressed
Administration Oral capsule/tablet Injections, gels or creams

For Australian men over 30 who still want the benefits of higher testosterone without sacrificing fertility or injecting themselves for life, Androxal represents a genuine paradigm shift.

Desire: How Androxal Tackles Your Real-Life Problems

Low testosterone in men over 30 is not just a number on a blood test. It is the reason you feel tired, flat, and “past your prime.” Androxal targets the root cause in many men—a sluggish pituitary signal—rather than masking the problem.

Your Pain Points and How Androxal Helps
Your symptom What low testosterone does Androxal response
Constant fatigue Low T reduces mitochondrial energy and red blood cell production Raises natural testosterone, improving energy and stamina
Low libido and weak erections Testosterone drives sexual desire and erectile function Restores testosterone levels, often improving sex drive and erectile quality
Belly fat and muscle loss Low T promotes visceral fat and reduces lean muscle Better testosterone supports muscle maintenance and fat metabolism
Brain fog and low mood Testosterone affects cognition, drive and mood Many men report clearer thinking and improved motivation
Poor sleep and recovery Hormonal imbalance disrupts sleep architecture Stable testosterone can support deeper, more restorative sleep

Androxal and Hepatic Impairment

One of the first questions Australian men ask me is whether Androxal is safe for the liver. Compared with many older hormonal medications, Androxal has a low risk of liver toxicity. However, if you have pre-existing liver disease or elevated liver enzymes, your doctor should monitor you carefully. Baseline liver function tests are essential, and periodic monitoring is wise. In men with severe hepatic impairment, Androxal is generally not recommended unless the benefits clearly outweigh the risks. For the vast majority of healthy men over 30, liver strain is minimal.

Androxal and Insomnia

Some men starting Androxal notice mild insomnia or increased alertness in the first few weeks. This is usually temporary as your hormones rebalance. I advise taking Androxal in the morning to reduce any impact on night-time sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday, and maintain a consistent sleep schedule. In my clinical experience, many men actually sleep better after several weeks on Androxal because their testosterone and oestrogen levels stabilise, reducing night-time awakenings and improving deep sleep.

Androxal and Drug Allergy

True allergy to Androxal is rare, but no medication is completely without risk. Signs of a serious allergic reaction include rash, hives, swelling of the face or throat, and difficulty breathing. If you experience these symptoms, stop the medication immediately and seek urgent medical care. Most men tolerate Androxal very well with minimal side effects.

Blood Tests While on Androxal

You should never start or adjust Androxal without proper blood monitoring. Regular testing is what separates responsible therapy from guesswork.

Recommended Blood Tests While on Androxal
Blood test Why it matters Frequency
Total and free testosterone Confirms testosterone improvement and dosing Baseline, 4–6 weeks, then every 3–6 months
LH and FSH Checks pituitary response and natural production Baseline and follow-up
Oestradiol Ensures oestrogen is not too high or too low Baseline and follow-up
Liver function tests Monitors hepatic safety Baseline and periodically
Full blood count Checks red blood cell levels Baseline and every 6 months
PSA Prostate safety for men over 40 Baseline and annually
Vitamin D Low vitamin D worsens hypogonadism and impairs response Baseline and re-check if low

Androxal and Weight Loss

Androxal is not a weight-loss drug, but many men over 30 find it easier to lose stubborn fat and rebuild lean muscle when their testosterone is restored. Low testosterone is strongly linked to increased visceral fat, insulin resistance and reduced physical performance. By normalising testosterone, Androxal helps correct the underlying hormonal environment that makes weight loss so difficult. Combined with a sensible diet and resistance training, the results can be impressive—less belly fat, more energy for workouts and better recovery.

Androxal and Diarrhea

Gastrointestinal side effects such as mild diarrhoea can occur in a small number of men starting Androxal. This is usually short-lived and often settles within days. Taking Androxal with food can reduce stomach upset. If diarrhoea persists beyond a week or is severe, speak to your doctor. Staying well hydrated is important. In most cases, this side effect is temporary and does not require stopping treatment.

Androxal and Vitamin D

Vitamin D is not just a bone vitamin—it is a critical hormone for male health. Australian men are often deficient due to indoor work and sun-smart practices. Low vitamin D is associated with low testosterone, poor mood, fatigue and reduced muscle strength. I always check vitamin D levels when evaluating men for hypogonadism. Correcting vitamin D deficiency with supplements can improve your response to Androxal, making testosterone restoration more effective. Think of vitamin D as the foundation that allows Androxal to work optimally.

Androxal for Pituitary Disorders

Androxal is particularly useful for men with secondary hypogonadism, where the problem lies in the pituitary or hypothalamus rather than the testes. Conditions such as pituitary tumours, previous head trauma, or idiopathic hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism may respond well to Androxal, provided the pituitary still has the capacity to produce LH and FSH. If you have a known pituitary disorder, an endocrinologist should be involved in your care. Androxal is not suitable for primary testicular failure, where the testes themselves cannot produce testosterone. That is why proper blood testing and diagnosis are essential.

Action: Take Back Your Energy, Your Body and Your Confidence

You do not have to accept fatigue, low libido, brain fog and weight gain as “just part of getting older.” If you are over 30 and recognise yourself in the symptoms above, Androxal may offer a real, sustainable solution—one that works with your body, preserves your fertility and avoids the drawbacks of traditional testosterone replacement.

Here is exactly what to do next:

  1. Recognise the signs. If you have low energy, reduced sex drive, poor recovery, mood changes or unexplained weight gain, take it seriously.
  2. Get blood tests. Ask your GP or men’s health clinic to test total testosterone, free testosterone, LH, FSH, oestradiol, liver function, full blood count, PSA and vitamin D.
  3. Discuss Androxal. Book a consultation with a doctor experienced in men’s health. In Australia, Androxal is available via prescription and may be accessed through compounding pharmacies or the Special Access Scheme. It is not a PBS item, so expect a private prescription.
  4. Start the right treatment. If you are a suitable candidate, begin Androxal under medical supervision and monitor your progress with follow-up blood tests.
  5. Reclaim your life. With restored testosterone, many men report better energy, improved mood, stronger libido, easier weight management and renewed confidence.

Final word from the doctor: Androxal is not a magic pill, but for the right man it can be life-changing. It addresses the root cause of low testosterone in many men over 30, without shutting down your natural hormone axis. With sensible monitoring and lifestyle habits, Androxal can help you feel like yourself again—energised, sharp, strong and confident.

Do not wait another year feeling exhausted and flat. Talk to your doctor about Androxal today.
