About  Us

A personal note from Vladimir Fanshil & Eleanor Lyons

Live at Yours began in the most unexpected way — in our own living room. In 2020, when the world fell silent, we refused to believe that music should exist only on screens. So we gathered a handful of people, pulled the chairs close, and performed for twenty guests at a time. Those evenings were small, fragile, unforgettable — and they reminded us why we became musicians: to share something real, something human, something that only exists when people come together.

A New Way to Experience Music

In the first years, we travelled across NSW and the ACT, giving more than 50 performances in lounge rooms, coffee roasteries, tin sheds in the outback, art galleries, churches, synagogues and regional theatres.

It was in those intimate settings that we connected deeply with locals, listened to their feedback, and discovered what Australians truly value in live music: informal yet refined, relaxed yet deeply sincere, intimate yet world-class.

Those conversations shaped everything — from our welcoming tone to having no intervals, allowing the emotional arc to flow without interruption. This is how we crafted the ultimate listening experience we offer today: personal, natural and genuinely shared.

From a lounge room to a national stage

Live at Yours has now grown far beyond our living room — into concert spaces across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Orange, Castlemaine and beyond — yet the essence remains unchanged.

Every venue is chosen for its story and atmosphere. Every performance is lit and shaped to feel close, warm and immersive. And every artist who joins us shares our belief in vulnerability, honesty and connection.

World-class artists, up close

Extraordinary artists, shared in intimate spaces — where every detail comes alive.

Committed to the next generation

As Live at Yours grows, so does our responsibility to young musicians. Through masterclasses, mentoring, and partnerships with ANAM and the Sydney Conservatorium, we help the next generation experience the same intimacy and inspiration that shaped our early years.

Thank you for being part of this journey!
We can’t wait to welcome you — up close, and personal.

Podowart Review: A Doctor’s Guide for Australian Adults Over 30

Disclaimer: This article is for educational information only and does not replace individual medical advice. Always consult a qualified Australian doctor or pharmacist before starting any prescription treatment.

Attention: Warts Are More Common Than You Think — and They Can Be Treated

If you are over 30 and dealing with genital or anal warts, you may feel embarrassed, anxious, or even ashamed. You are not alone. As a doctor practicing in Australia, I see patients every week who have been silently living with visible warts for months — sometimes years — because they felt too uncomfortable to seek help.

Common pain points I hear include:

The good news is that external genital and perianal warts can be treated effectively at home with a prescription medicine called Podowart. If you are tired of hiding the problem and want a targeted, doctor-prescribed solution, Podowart may be the right choice for you.

Interest: How Podowart Works

Podowart contains the active ingredient podophyllotoxin 0.5%, a plant-derived compound that attacks wart tissue directly. It works by stopping the wart cells from dividing and multiplying. Unlike some general acid-based wart paints, Podowart is specifically designed for external genital and perianal warts caused by HPV.

In my practice, I often recommend Podowart because it is:

Desire: Safety, Confidence, and Frequently Asked Questions

As a doctor, I know that safety concerns are the biggest barrier for many people. Below are the questions I am most often asked by patients over 30 about Podowart.

What are the contraindications of Podowart?

Podowart is not suitable for everyone. You should not use Podowart if you:

Always tell your doctor about all medications, supplements, and health conditions before starting Podowart.

Is Podowart safe for anal warts?

Podowart can be used for external perianal warts — warts that are visible around the outside of the anus. However, it is not safe for internal anal warts inside the anal canal. If you have any wart inside the anus, rectum, or lower bowel, you need a specialist examination. In my practice, I examine the area carefully and only prescribe Podowart for external lesions where it can be applied accurately.

Is Podowart safe for breastfeeding mothers with warts?

No. I do not recommend Podowart while breastfeeding. Even though the amount absorbed through the skin is low, podophyllotoxin is a cytotoxic medicine, and the manufacturer lists breastfeeding as a contraindication. During breastfeeding, I usually recommend physical treatments such as cryotherapy or trichloroacetic acid (TCA) applied in the clinic. If you are breastfeeding and have warts, please speak with your doctor about safe alternatives.

Can Podowart be used on broken skin?

No. Podowart must only be applied to intact wart tissue. Broken or ulcerated skin increases the risk of systemic absorption and can cause severe irritation, pain, and tissue damage. If the skin around your wart is cracked, bleeding, or recently biopsied, wait until it has fully healed before starting treatment. Apply Podowart carefully with a cotton bud and avoid getting it on healthy surrounding skin.

Does Podowart interact with antiretroviral drugs?

There are no established direct drug interactions between topical podophyllotoxin and antiretroviral medications. Because Podowart is applied to the skin, very little is absorbed into the bloodstream, so the risk of a formal drug interaction is low. However, if you are living with HIV and taking antiretroviral therapy, your immune system may affect how quickly warts clear. I always coordinate care with your HIV specialist and may recommend more frequent reviews or a biopsy if any lesion looks unusual. Never stop or change your antiretroviral therapy without medical advice.

What is the maximum repeat time for Podowart prescription?

In Australia, a prescription for Podowart is valid for 12 months from the date it is written, but the number of repeats is determined by your doctor. I usually write an initial prescription with one repeat, and I require a clinical review before further repeats are authorised. The treatment itself should not be used for more than four consecutive weekly cycles without a medical review. If warts are not clearing after four weeks, a different approach or specialist opinion is needed.

Can Podowart be used with HPV vaccine?

Yes. Podowart can be used safely alongside the HPV vaccine, such as Gardasil 9. The HPV vaccine helps protect against certain HPV types, including the types that cause most genital warts and several cancers. However, the vaccine does not treat existing warts. That is why using Podowart to clear current visible warts and considering the vaccine for future protection can be a smart combination. If you are over 30 and have never been vaccinated against HPV, ask your doctor whether the vaccine is suitable for you.

Is there a Podowart gel formulation?

Podowart is most commonly available as a clear topical solution. A true gel formulation of Podowart is not widely available in Australia. Some pharmacies may stock podophyllotoxin as a cream under a different brand. If you find a product labelled “Podowart gel” online, be very cautious — it may not be a genuine or TGA-approved product. Always obtain Podowart or podophyllotoxin from a registered Australian pharmacy with a valid prescription.

Action: Take the Next Step Today

You do not need to live with the discomfort, embarrassment, or anxiety caused by genital or perianal warts. Podowart is a practical, evidence-based option that I have recommended to many suitable patients over the age of 30. It offers the chance to clear visible warts in the privacy of your own home, with fewer clinic visits and a clear treatment plan.

Here is what I suggest you do now:

  1. Book a consultation with your GP or sexual health clinic.
  2. Show the affected area — a proper diagnosis is essential.
  3. Ask your doctor whether Podowart is right for you.
  4. If prescribed, fill your script at a registered Australian pharmacy.
  5. Use exactly as directed and return for review if warts are not improving after four weeks.

Doctor’s verdict: For external genital and perianal warts in suitable non-pregnant, non-breastfeeding adults, Podowart is a convenient, effective, and discreet treatment. When used correctly, it can help you regain confidence, reduce transmission risk, and finally put the wart problem behind you. Speak to your doctor today and take back control of your health.
